MASTER WORKSHOP
THE ATMOSPHERIC LANDSCAPE EN PASTEL

I'm excited to be part of this year's Master Workshop program at the Cathy Kline Art Gallery located near English Landing Park in Parkville, MO. My workshop is set for June 15 - 17, 2018.
This workshop is a great opportunity for me to share my knowledge and skills as well as a way to promote interest in the pastel medium. Pastels and their qualities are often overlooked by both, artists and collectors. Edgar Degas is the artist most widely recognized for transforming pastel from a sketching tool into a major artistic medium. Pastel artists and society's all over continue to support and spread interest today. I'm glad I'm able to be part of that.
This workshop will be at the Cathy Kline Art Gallery inside the old train depot in downtown Parkville, MO. Cathy Kline brings a number of Master Workshops to the Kansas City area throughout the year. A good range of subjects and mediums are taught - portraits, landscapes, and still-lifes in oil, acrylic, watercolor, and pastel. I'm very thankful for her inviting me to share my artistry. Those who are interested in taking my summer workshop, contact Cathy Kline for registration.
